  The following article explains how to design a pagination to search results or to split a long list of records into more pages.  The following tutorial includes HTML/CSS code which can include Digg-like, Clean pagination style that are ready to use in your development projects.

Pagination structure

You can have four main elements :

•  Standard Page selector
• Current Active page
• Previous/Next
• Previous/Next button/disable

Your design can be made using HTML list/<ul> which have <li> elements for each pagination and give an ID for the <ul> list to assign a specific pagination style to the list.

 Definition and short description of Media Types:

The concept gives you the chance to specify how your document shall be presented in more typo of media. The difference stands in the layout presentation, on the screen, on the paper, with an aural browser.

Media Types :

Attention, some CSS properties are designed for just a certain media. And other properties can be used for different media. “font-size” can be used also for screen and also print media, but with different values.

For those who are just beginners in this, must know that Lists are in two basic flavors: ordered and unordered. Though since CSS allow you to customize your HTML .

Styling Type in CSS

When you want to have more than default to your numbering of ordered lists, bullets, discs, the answer is to choose a different style for the list. You have to know that CSS allows you to select from a large gamut of different lists item shapes.

•  Ordered list style : circle, disc, square..
• Unordered style : lower-alpha, lower-roman, decimal, upper-roman..

I have always appreciate web-developers, programmers and their work, because I thought that is damn difficult to make those “language” (Html, CSS, Java..) you name it. We are in a hard moment when it comes to codes, change something that we are so alien about it. The answer would probably shock you but you will agree with me, some of us, at first we are incompatible with these high creative engines, and it takes very much time to resolve a problem, issues to our coding. But on web we can find more and more helpful tricks and hacks made by specialists, by developers, that come in handy for us.
